From simplifying housing to empowering immigrants. Settle, a solutions-driven platform is designed to give immigrants and newcomers a dignified start in Canada by making affordable housing accessible from day one. As the Design Lead at One Studios, I spearheaded the project delivery towards a visual identity and digital presence built on trust, simplicity, and empowerment.

The Challenge
Rent is the biggest and most consistent expense for millions of people, yet it does little to help them move forward financially. Renters pay on time and act responsibly, but the system fails to recognize this behaviour. Credit is still built around loans and cards, housing access relies on limited signals, and newcomers or cross-border renters are left with high friction and low trust. The result is a cycle where people do the right thing every month, but struggle to build credit, secure better housing, or carry their financial reputation with them.
Settle exists to break that cycle. By turning rent into verified financial data, Settle helps renters build real credibility from how they already live. Over time, this foundation unlocks easier housing access, smoother payments, and cross-border financial freedom — creating a fairer, more modern renting ecosystem built on trust, transparency, and real behaviour.
